The all-new DJI Matrice 30 (M30) series is a groundbreaking commercial grade UAV that is raising the bar for drone manufacturers. The M30 and M30T feature many of the same capabilities of the M300, but in a compact airframe that is slightly larger than a Mavic. The camera features an integrated 48MP 1/2'' CMOS sensor zoom camera with 5x-16x optical zoom with a 200x digital zoom capability. The 12MP wide-angle camera can capture photos in 8K, or 4K video at 30 frames per second. The laser rangefinder provides precise coordinates for objects up to 3937 feet (1200 meters) away. Additionally - the M30T also features a 640x512 radiometric thermal camera. It's hard to comprehend how DJI packed this many sensors into one payload - but they did, and they did it well.
The M30 series was designed for professionals and to withstand the harshest of environments. It features an Ingress Protection rating of IP55, and an operating temperature -4 to 122 °F (-20 to -50°C). The M30 delivers a balance of power and portability - providing higher operational efficiency and reliability. It's high-versatility makes this platform a great option for law enforcement, search and rescue, fire departments and security forces.

The new RC Plus controller features a 7-inch built-in widescreen with dual control mode and was specifically tailor-made for Enterprise users. With IP54 protection, the RC Plus is water and dustproof and has an operating temperature of -4° to 122° F (-20° to 50° C) - making it capable of working in almost every environment. The RC Plus also features 4G connectivity, 6 physical buttons for mission-critical functions and 6 hours on-screen time. The new DJI Pilot 2 app is a revamped Enterprise flight interface designed to improve piloting efficiency and flight safety. Drone and payload controls can be easily accessed with one tap with clear presentation of flight details and navigational information to improve user experience and flight efficiency.
One of the most impressive aspects of the M30 series is the built-in redundancies and backup systems. For example, this 4-rotor drone is capable of landing with only 3 working motors! That by itself is a massive engineering feat, but it is only one of many impressive aspects of this platform. The drone also features ToF sensors on all six sides, keeping it and your mission safe. The built-in ADS-B receiver provides timely warnings of any incoming crewed aircraft nearby. Four built-in antennas support OcuSync 3 Enterprise, which enables triple-channel 1080p video transmission, and seamless swapping between input feeds, even in complex environments.
DJI is scheduled to release a version of the M30 that is compatible with the DJI Dock, a rugged charging/autonomous mission deployment station built to operate 24/7 no matter the time or weather. Designed for professionals who work in hard-to-reach remote areas - each DJI Dock houses a Matrice 30 (Dock Version) that will autonomously land to recharge before executing the next mission programmed in DJI FlightHub 2. Featuring a fast charge from 10-90% in just 25 minutes and an operation range of 4.3 miles (7km) - the Dock is a powerful tool that eliminates the need for boots on the ground for repetitive missions.
The M30 series is expected to be available around June of 2022. To preorder this drone, please click here.
