Step 1: Complete the Repair Form
Fill out the repair form at the bottom of the Repairs and Service page. Once completed, we will email you a pre-paid UPS label within one business day. You will receive an initial email once the repair form has been filled out with an additional email containing a PDF of your UPS shipping label. If you do not receive any emails from Vertigo Drones please check your spam or junk folder.
Step 2: Print Your Label
Once you receive the pre-paid UPS label print it out and tape it to the outside of your box. Make sure the label is visible and securely taped to the box. 2-Way shipping fees will apply to the end total of the repair.
Step 3: UPS Shipping
Take your box to your local UPS drop off location. UPS will provide you with a box large enough to hold your repair if you do not have one on hand. We strongly recommend you send us your repair in the original box and foam it arrived in when purchased. This will ensure nothing is damaged during transit. Please only include your controller, camera and drone. Vertigo Drones does not require any batteries, propellers or accessories for a repair.
Step 4: Approving Your Estimate
Once your repair has arrived in our facility we will send an automated email confirming your package has arrived. One of our technicians will then send an email with an estimate of what needs to be fixed. We provide a line by line breakdown of parts, labor and shipping. Once you approve the estimate the repair process will begin. If you do not approve your estimate we will email you an invoice for 2-way shipping charges. Once this is paid we will promptly send your unit back to you untouched.
Step 5: Repair Process
Our certified technicians will begin the repair process and keep you updated on the status every step of the way. All repairs go through a 50 point check list and are flight tested to ensure you receive your drone in perfect working condition. Our average turn around is 3 -5 business days* with Expedited and Priority service available, If at any point you have any questions or concerns about your repair you can contact us at [email protected] or at (800) 834-5279.
Step 6: Payment
Once your repair is completed we will email you a PayPal invoice that you can pay at your leisure. Once payment is received we will promptly ship your repair back. If the PayPal invoice is paid before 2 pm EST your repair will be shipped that same day. Invoices paid after 2 pm EST can expect shipment the following business day. Vertigo Drones also offers Expedited and Priority shipping for an additional cost.
Step 7: Return Shipping
All repairs will be sent back via Standard Shipping (3 - 6 Business Days) unless Expedited (2-3 Business Days) or Priority (1 -2 Business Days) were requested and paid for ahead of time. Once your repair is shipped from our facility you will receive an automated email confirming shipment with additional tracking information available in your customer account. All repairs are sent back with a signature required upon delivery.
Step 8: Time to Fly!
Now you are ready to get back in the air! We are confident you are going to be pleased with our quality of work and fast turn around time. The only thing left to do is keep Vertigo Drones in mind if you need anything else in the future!
*Please be advised that repair warranties end after a period of 30 days. Repair warranties do not cover any damages caused by user error and only apply in certain situations. Any issues with batteries are not covered under warranty. If a repair needs to be sent back to Vertigo Drones it will be subject to an internal investigation to determine the cause of the problem. If it is found that the cause of the incident was user error it will be treated as another repair subject to parts, labor and shipping charges.
