INSPECTION QUALITY AT A SAFE DISTANCE

The Yuneec E50 Camera
The medium focal length lens on the Yuneec E50, a gimbal stabilized camera, allows pilots to fly further away from an object of inspection, reducing risk. Flying further away reduces impact of turbulence and wind shear generated by the inspection object.

Yuneec E50 Camera The quality of the video on the E50 is good, however the quality of still shots is less than the quality of the video and still pictures are not crisp and clear, making it difficult to zoom in on inspections. The video is clear when flying forward, buy seems to have issue when flying sideways doing roof inspections. To get clear video the drone needs to be stopped and give camera time to focus or there is blurring. Being able to do inspections from a greater distance than with the E90 is definitely an advantage. 5 Robert Marquiss
