The Yuneec CGO3+ Mount Set features the upper dampening plate for the CGO3+ 4K camera on the Typhoon H hexacopter. The upper dampening plate is also compatible with the Typhoon H Plus/Typhoon H3 and H520 payloads. This component is OEM direct from the manufacturer.

As advertised

Product was exactly as advertised. Arrived on time as well. The only downside is that this only comes with 2 pins and 2 clips when there are 4 required. My assumtion is that they figure that all 4 didn't break but how much can these tiny plastic pins and disks really cost?!?!?!? I would have giving a 5 star rating if 4 of these were included. Also there should be an option to purchase only the pins and clips as I would by 50+ just to have on hand.

As Expected

The parts arrived as expected and work as advertised. I don't recommend paying the extra for expedited shipping it was a week before I received the parts. There aren't any instructions, however, I found YouTube videos that adequately explained how to replace the broken parts. Took about 30 minutes to be up and running.

Q: Can you use four pins to make it more secure or is there a reason why there is only two?

A: There is no logical reason Yuneec chose not to include 4 retaining pins. Installing 4 pins will not necessarily prevent damage but will not adversely affect anything.

Q: I see whats wrong, the base plate is the part that need, the part that slides on the drone broke the slides I need the the base plate, when I crashed it broke the slides that attach it to the drone, I'm looking at the base plate on your website, my problem is I can't seem to figure out how the base plate comes away from the wiring and contacts. Is this something I can do without taking it in for repairs? So far I've got the washers off the two pins, haven't gotten any farther in the last hour. Any help with this would be appreciated. The drone is a Typhoon H with a CGO3 +

A: Hello Paul,

If you are looking to swap out your mountset for the CGO3+, you will need to remove the three silver screws that are holding the contact plate in its place, once you loosen this panel, the contact plate and wiring can be separated from the top dampening plate and swapped out

A: Hello SIr,

Only two pins are needed to secure the slip ring wires from damage, each on an opposite corner

Q: the picture only shows 2 of the 4 retaining pins is that all this comes with? I am in need of 4 pins and the clips.

A: The mount set only comes with two, because it is only suggested to have two retaining pins one on each side diagonally. We do not sell the retaining clips separately, they only come with the mount set.

A: Yes, this is how they are shipped from the factory. Two is sufficient to prevent wire damage in the even of a hard landing.
