The Typhoon H with RealSense technology is capable of detecting obstacles and adapting to them intelligently by using three different cameras and sensors that refresh at 60fps to build a 3D model of the world. This module upgrades the standard version of the Yuneec Typhoon H to one capable of autonomous flight. The additional sensors don't just provide enhanced collision avoidance but also enhance the H's ability to sense altitude and allows for fully autonomous flight. Easy to install & works very well.

The intel Realsense was easy to install and worked better then I expected. Remember, you must turn on (Obstacle Avoidance) on the ST16 ground station in order for the Intel Realsense to function. The clicking sound it emits from the ST16 gets louder as the Typhoon H gets closer to an obstacle. It's amazing to watch this craft negotiate around, beneath or above obstacles in follow/watch me mode. This thing is slick..

Received the module today. It was very easy to install and I looooove with the new firmware showing the distance to objects on the controller. Using RealSense is more comforting than using the stock avoidance detection. This is a "No Brainer" purchase!!

Fantastic Addition

The addition of the Intel Realsense Module to my Yuneec Typhoon H drone has proved to be fantastic. You'll learn a great deal about your drone by installing it yourself, same hundreds of dollars, and greatly enhance the collision avoidance technology of your drone. The Realsense Module remembers objects and finds a path around them. Amazing to watch!

Easy to install

Looking forward to first test; weather has been uncooperative to say the least, but indoor static tests of new firmware show sensors working as expected, showing distance to nearby obstacles. Many thanks to Vertigo Drones!

Q: Will this upgrade my drone to the pro model?

A: The word "Pro" is just an advertising term. This will upgrade your unit to the Typhoon H with RealSense. The "Pro" models also have a backpack, extra battery and the Wizard remote.

A: Yes. This is the separate 'Bolt On' Unit to upgrade the regular Typhoon H.
