Q: the picture only shows 2 of the 4 retaining pins is that all this comes with? I am in need of 4 pins and the clips.

A: The mount set only comes with two, because it is only suggested to have two retaining pins one on each side diagonally. We do not sell the retaining clips separately, they only come with the mount set.

Q: Will this mount set , the shock dampers fit the Q500 as well???

A: The Q500 has different dampers than the Typhoon H CGO3+ mount set. You can find the mount set with dampers for the Q500 with the link I have provided below.

Q: Can you use four pins to make it more secure or is there a reason why there is only two?

A: There is no logical reason Yuneec chose not to include 4 retaining pins. Installing 4 pins will not necessarily prevent damage but will not adversely affect anything.

A: The pins are installed on opposite diagonal corners. Only two are shipped from the manufacturer.

Q: I see whats wrong, the base plate is the part that need, the part that slides on the drone broke the slides I need the the base plate, when I crashed it broke the slides that attach it to the drone, I'm looking at the base plate on your website, my problem is I can't seem to figure out how the base plate comes away from the wiring and contacts. Is this something I can do without taking it in for repairs? So far I've got the washers off the two pins, haven't gotten any farther in the last hour. Any help with this would be appreciated. The drone is a Typhoon H with a CGO3 +

A: Hello Paul,

If you are looking to swap out your mountset for the CGO3+, you will need to remove the three silver screws that are holding the contact plate in its place, once you loosen this panel, the contact plate and wiring can be separated from the top dampening plate and swapped out

A: Yes, this is how they are shipped from the factory. Two is sufficient to prevent wire damage in the even of a hard landing.
